A minor issue with board games, being colorblind is major barrier to most computer games. Even the increasing number of games with colorblind modes usually miss the mark on simplifying object differentiation. As with physical sports, the extra time it takes to respond to secondary rather than primary identifiers results in embarrassing performance.

Financial professionals seem to love using a rainbow of colors on their charts and spreadsheets. It is apparently better to be in the black than the red, but they look the same to me. For these reasons, some job listings explicitly disallow colorblind applicants.

Even though we mostly manage to successfully navigate the challenges inherent in color-biased signals, some countries do not allow colorblind people to drive. As of this writing, colorblind persons cannot get driving licenses in China, and several other countries. Only recently were prohibitions lifted in India for people with mild colorblindness. In the United States, only Massachusetts prohibits licensing colorblind drivers. No Uber or Lyft jobs for them.

Some jobs would be fine, but I can imagine many, very expensive mistakes. All or some of the wrong material sent to job site. Mislabeled boxes. Using incorrect grout color. Designs that use pattern of various colors.
